The Ginger Bread House.

Our family home evening Easter activity was a ginger bread house. Owen loved it and did such a good job when he made one for Christmas, that we decided to let him do it again for Easter. He was thrilled and was all smiles as we did it. Here's proof.

I don't know what he loved more, getting to play with his food, or all the candy involved.

He and Mitch put way too many decorations on the roof that it collapsed over and over.
This didn't bother him at all, he loved every minute of it.

Mitch got so into it that he started decorating his own hand.
Huh, I wonder where Owen learns some of these things...

Frosting all over the clothes. But look at that smile.

He was getting so excited when it was almost done,
he kept climbing on the table, ready to eat it.

And finally, the finished product! Owen and Mitch got pretty creative during the process.
Notice the butter knife and the baby spoon covered in frosting and jelly beans. Awesome!

Hey I saw that Easter gingerbread house and thought about getting it. But we didn't end up doing it. It looks so cute! Hey you need to teach me how to do my signature at the bottom of my posts. Will ya?

Too cute! I had no idea there were gingerbread houses for Easter. Looks like your boys had some fun though! And your hubby isn't the only one, mine would be doing the same thing with all the frosting!
