Owen's 17th Haircut

OK, so while I don't know the exact number of haircuts Owen has had, I do know that it has been a lot. We go and get our hair's cut (as he likes to say) at Cousin Christie's about every 6 weeks. And every time we go he cries and cries and cries...

Once the cape is on, it starts.

At this point he turned to me and said, "Oh man Mom!"

This is about the point where he loses it every time.
He cries...

And cries...

And cries...

And cries, until...

She takes off the cape and gives him his special mint.
I'm hoping that it will get better each time we go.
This time he did stop crying for a minute to tell me that he couldn't see the T.V
because I was in the way. Well, it's something!

* I told Owen he could choose his song for the post... I promise we listen to uplifting
music as well. I'm still a good mom right?!

Haha. Love it! We had the same problem with Keaton until the last few haircuts. He finally is excited for them now because he gets to sit in the airplane, watch Nemo, get a balloon and sucker after, and go down the slide. He has the routine down and now asks for a haircut every few days. He'll get the hang of it!

So funny Em. I had to laugh at the song choice too! Owen is seriously going to be a little heartbreaker...hopefully not a womanizer though!!

E does that same thing and I just don't get it. I always tell him it only takes longer if they are freaking out. I am glad I am not the only one that has to deal with this.

What a hilarious post! I love that he says oh man mom! Too funny! And that he stops to cry long enough to say "please move mom I can't see the T.V." What a funny, and cute, little boy!
